Author Bio
Sister Edmée SLG (d. 2018) entered the Community of the Sisters of the Love of God in 1966. She had a particular interest in the Biblical Song of Songs, which was the subject of her doctoral thesis and of her book, *The Song of Songs and the Eros of God: A Study in Biblical Intertextuality*, published by Oxford University Press in 2009, under her secular name, Edmée Kingsmill. She was Editor of SLG Press in the 1970s.
