Father Lucius Cary SSJE based all his spiritual teaching on the contemplation of the saving mysteries of the Gospel. In this selection from the many addresses and retreats given to the Community of the Sisters of the Love of God in the period 1914-50, the reader may accompany him through the liturgical year, finding through the Church’s celebration of Christmas, Easter, Pentecost and other major feasts, a way into the inexhaustible mystery of God’s love for us, made known in Jesus Christ.
